In my work, it's 100% all about you. To ensure you get the images that you are completely satisfied with, it's important to me that you feel relaxed in front of my camera. Instead of a mugshot atmosphere sitting on a posing stool, you'll not only get coffee and cookies but also tips on facial expressions and body language. During the session we'll review the shots on my laptop. This gives you confidence and insight how you come across. You'll be amazed at what a slight body turn and a little joke can do! :-)
The term is mainly used in English-speaking countries, but it's also common in business photography. A headshot is a photograph of the head and a shoulders, with focus on the facial expression. Our expressions determine whether we are perceived as approachable. An open, friendly facial expression makes the viewer feel engaged, creating a connection and conveying trust.
A professional headshot is essential for classic job applications and online profiles. It's important on business platforms like LinkedIn as well as the social media realm, on WhatsApp, Zoom, email signatures, for company ID cards and even on dating platforms.
In a headshot, the focus is solely on the face. Whereas a portrait often includes the upper body or even full body, possibly with accessories in the frame. Such images are not suitable as profile pictures since the face is not clearly visible in relation to the rest of the image.
You're not alone feeling that way! But with my support this will change in no time; in a relaxed environment, we'll take photos that you'll love to show off. It's not about the way you look, it's about the way you feel.
I have a little home-studio. It's less formal, a more relaxed atmosphere and there's always enough coffee available :-)
Absolutely. For larger groups or companies I will set up my studio on-site. This saves time, minimally disrupts the workday and is more convenient for the employees.
When choosing your clothing, avoid anything distracting: bright colors, bold patterns or prints. Also no flashy jewelry or dramatic makeup.
In general, it's better to bring too much than too little, so feel free to bring that cool leather jacket or your favorite sweater, too!
I always ask my clients for permission to use their photos on my website and on social media. Since I am a photographer this is an important part of my marketing. I someone expressly does not agree, I will respect that.
The images you select will be professionally edited and made available to you for download within 7 business days.

Even though these features (cropped head, tight framing) are typical for headshots, sometimes a different format is needed. So I provide the images in various crops so that you can use them as required.
